Bike looks awesome. got a 1980 cm400t just a couple weeks ago, i like it it a lot, but i am trying to go for the same kind of look as yours. I got new handlebars (club style) but im struggling to figure out the seat situation. what seat did you use? and where did you get it. and also did you have to modify the bike at all to get the seat to fit?
Ordered the seat from motorcycleseatsdirect.com http://www.motorcycleseatsdirect.com/1979-1982-honda-cm400-cm400t-cm400a-cm450-cafe-seat-4304/ I did not have to modify the frame for this seat. It was fortuitous that I had the old rusty seat pan as I had to steal some hardware (spring loaded clips) from it to make it work. The descriptions on the website indicate whether you need to modify the frame.
